I would be coming back to Ghana and book again with Kwame Tours Ghana!! Booking with Kwame Tours Ghana was the best!! We booked the Accra Delailed City Tour with them. They replied back to us quickly and 2 hours later we were on our way. Our tour guide Alex was the best!!! Alex was on time and welcoming. He very informative and helpful. Us being two females traveling alone Alex made sure we were safe and not taken advantage of. If there was anything we needed or was looking to get he was there to make it happen. Excellent Experience of Accra
Clinton was an amazing tour guide! In just a few short hours he was able to get us to the W.E.B. Dubois home, the Ghana National Museum (a GREAT experience), the Makola Market, Jamestown and the fishing boats, and the Arts Center. We never had to wait more than 2 minutes for an Uber/taxi and everything went smoothly. I feel like we were able to get a really good feel for Accra and important Ghanaian history and culture. Kwame is honestly the best - not just a great guide but a wonderful person and you will always have a good time when he’s around. We did Mt. Afadjato and Wli waterfalls and I spent some time at his compound in his village. A day to remember and never forget.
We were picked up by Daniel from our hotel. Our full-day tour of Kakum National Park, Elmina Castle, and Fort Cape Coast was enjoyable. As the canopy is relatively high, Kakum, make sure you are not afraid of heights. If you are afraid of heights and cannot complete the whole experience, you can walk one walkway or all seven. The latter was our choice. Remember to hydrate as it was boiling, wear comfortable walking boots/shoes/trainers and ensure you don't have a heavy backpack like I did. The experience of visiting Elmina Castle and Fort Cape Coast was humbling to know what my ancestors endured. Their enslavers carried out heinous atrocities on them that were difficult to comprehend. The reality of what happened there was not being taken in by some people who were too joyful, smiling, laughing, and taking pictures. Awesome discovery of Accra city.

A very varied tour
It was a very varied and interesting tour. Climbing mountains, beautiful views, swimming in waterfalls, walking through forest areas, staying by the water... lots of impressions that give you a good idea of the country of Ghana. The driver Mike was very experienced and you felt very well looked after every minute and if you had any questions he always helped and took your wishes into account. Guide Daniel took care of hotel accommodation, sorted out the food and finances so that you really didn't have to worry about anything. It was a relaxed atmosphere and a very interesting time. Great Accra experience
I appreciate the most my tour guide Clinton. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. Unfortunately the power was out at the W.E.B. Dubois museum so the conditions were less than desirable. The tour guide at the museum was very knowledgeable. I must say I learned a lot from him. My take away from that visit is the world is much smaller than it appears. I never imagined I would learn so much about an American from a Ghanaian. The Makola market was fascinating and somewhat overwhelming. I wish the weather was more conducive to a being in a crowded place. It was 90 degrees with an heat index of 100. Overall, I enjoyed today's excursions!
